Tree Looking a Little Blah?

If your tree needs a little holiday make over we have the perfect solution.

 

 

Join Medeah this coming Tuesday evening, Dec. 4th at 5:30 to create these three ornaments. Like all of Medeah's classes you not only will create something beautiful but learn a new technique you can apply to other projects. This would look lovely on your tree or are substantial enough to make the perfect teacher, friend or hostess gifts. Class cost is $45.00 and includes all supplies.

Join us tomorrow, Sat., Dec. 1st,  for this spectacular pair of classes with our dear friend Ann-Denise. In the morning she will be teaching the snow fairy and the afternoon this wonderful tree topper. Cost for both classes is $100 or you can take the snow fairy for $55.00 and the tree topper for $70.00.  It will be a festive day at Paper Crown and I guarantee you won't have to fight the traffic or hunt forever for a parking spot.

Thank you to all of our " angels" who participated in the Angel Wing Toy Drive class last night. We collected lots of toys for the kiddos at Children's Hospital and made the most adorable set of wings. Thanks Bobbie for coming up with such a great idea and donating your time. Thanks also to Bobbie's husband and Lexi's best bud, Randy, for cutting out 18 sets of wings- you earned yours buddy!

Angel Wings & Snow Fairies

Just a reminder for all you girls who were quick enough to sign up for Bobbie's Angel Wings class tomorrow. Please bring a pair of scissors, regular sized glue gun (you have lots of gluing to do) and plenty of glue sticks. Oops, most importantly, also please bring an unwrapped toy comparable to class cost to be donated to Children's Hospital.

Make Your Holiday Sparkle

I love this front display table. It is ALL about the sparkle! Mercury glass is such a fun way to update your holiday decorating and it looks beautiful all year long. I also love this Santos. For a couple of years now they have been a small obsession. We have several different ones in the store but I love this one's facial expression and she has good hair. Most are really just a helmet. This girl has braids.

 

This gorgeous crown is really a royal memory crown. The ribbons have hooks at the end where you can attach pictures and mementos. It makes for a very elegant and special display.

 





Another beautiful crown, perfect to incorporate in a centerpiece or possibly as a tree topper.

 

 

 

All of this royal glittery goodness is brought to you by two wonderfully talented friends, Debbie and Shea, the Gilded Life girls. I met them last Spring when I attended an art event in their restored church which served as their most beautiful home in Dallas. They have since moved and I'm working on Austin to buy it for a combo home, store, law office and non- profit headquarters. It's a stretch but a girl can dream.

This spring, I was lucky enough to spend an entire week with them at the French General Chateau Getaway. I just realized I never posted pictures from that trip- I need to. Shea taught one of her famous beading classes and Debbie a beaded flower posy. It was so much fun getting to spend that week with them and hopefully, they might even make it to Paper Crown in 2013! Keep your fingers crossed ladies.

Look A Lot Like Christmas

Hope everyone had a relaxing Thanksgiving with family and friends.

We just got in October Afternoon's Make it Merry  and Farm Girl lines. They are always a tad bit late but definitely worth it.

here soon.
