Spring Cleaning

Out with the old and in with the new. Come by and see all the spring lines that have been flooding the backroom for weeks. It is almost all out- at least for now. Cosmo Cricket, October Afternoon and others scheduled to arrive soon.

 

To make room for new Basic Grey, I put out this week several additional Basic Grey lines on the .10 a sheet and 60% table. Great time to stock up and will only be available through the end of the month.

Paper Clay Cutie

Ann-Denise

 

Not exactly an encore class but quite close. A few weeks ago Ann-Denise crossed the Red River to teach a smaller version of this doll that was made for a necklace. She looks a little intimidating - I know, but actually she is quite easy and the girls had the best time. It was one of the most fun classes we have had at Paper Crown. They all were different and all adorable.

 

So if the intimidation factor has been holding you back on one of Ann-Denise's paper clay classes, it's time to take a brave step forward. I'll let you in on a secret, she is preformed so you are just adding her facial features, hair and attire. Once you take your first paper clay class you will be wondering why you waited for so long. It is a great technique you can adapt to so many other projects.

Spring Glitter Market

It will be here in no time! Typically twice a year Paper Crown hosts Glitter Market which is a fun time to shop some of the most unique and beautiful hand made creations by our favorite artists. Many of our teachers have booths and we are also lucky to draw from some talented artists in the area. It is a one day shopping event complete with door prizes, yummy treats, inspiration and the best artistic shopping around.

The line to enter begins forming in the wee hours of the morning but for those early birds- the best doughnuts in town. This is a great opportunity for those of you out of town that have been wanting to check out the store. Pack up early , or maybe even Friday afternoon, attend Glitter Market for some fabulous shopping, meet all of our wonderful teachers and get a feel for their style of classes and then head down to the Paper Crown - we know you will be inspired to create. I will be happy to offer hotel suggestions for you out of towners. It's a very doable drive for those of you in Tulsa, Wichita or the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area.
