Paper Fetish

I have always loved paper- coloring, paper dolls, scrapbook, wrapping, journals, crepe paper & even a new spiral notebook- I guess all the possibilities ahead.

These are some of my favorite notebooks and cards. So glad to have a new shipment these always leave the store as soon as I get them out of the box.
Each page has a different inspirational quote- what a great way to start your day!

Love this over sized weekly agenda. I have tried using the "notes" on my phone, palm pilot and various other electronic devices but ALWAYS come back to paper - my true love

And the Winner is....

Miss Medeah!!

While Debby Schuh was here last weekend I had her select a winner for our Paper Crown crown contest. After quite some time studying each of the fabulous entries and telling me there was no way she could select just one winner, Debby selected Medeah's beautiful crown. I think what gave Medeah the edge was all her many handmade elements including the birds, feathers and flowers- not to mention Medeah arrived at Saturday's class bleary eyed and covered in glitter. She took a jar of glitter for the team. Medeah won a $100 gift cert. to Paper Crown- congrats Medeah, it is stunning.

If you didn't win, don't despair, there is still a chance to win a $75 Paper Crown gift certificate. Thanks to Peggy's great idea, we will be having a "shopper's choice" winner between the other participants. Shoppers will have until Friday, September 27th to vote on their favorite crown and the winner will receive a $75 Paper Crown gift certificate.

If you don't live close enough to the store we are so sorry, you are missing out on some serious eye candy, but you can leave a comment and vote also. This will be fun way to include both our local and on line followers.

The Entries are stunning, ladies you way outdid yourselves....

What a Fun Weekend

As you know we had a special treat at Paper Crown this past weekend. We were lucky to have the oh so talented, Debby Schuh fly in from NY to teach four classes at Paper Crown. I think we showed Debby some laid back Okie hospitality and she dazzled us with 4 beautiful and generous projects. A great time was had by all and I think- no, I know- Debby now has a couple dozen new followers.

It was a full house for the classes on Friday. Little Me and of course our very own Oklahoma album classes were huge hits.

Two of our favorites, Nancy and Lisa,  ready to get busy on their Oklahoma Albums

Saturday we started the day with the Memory Keeper's box which was so fun that I managed to miss taking a single pictures. We concluded Debby's OK tour with the Great Adventure album.

By the time the last class rolled around on Saturday afternoon are artists were happy but a little worn slick.

It was such an honor to have Debby spend the weekend with us in Oklahoma. I have heard nothing but glowing reviews and we hope she will make that flight south again. Thank you once again Debby for sharing your talent and sweet disposition with the girls from Paper Crown and we hope to see you again  soon.

Thank you also to everyone who helped me welcome Debby to Oklahoma and those of you who signed up for multiple classes. Glenda and Beth I think you are the winners- Thank you! Jackie thanks for making the cutest name tags and providing beautiful and tasty " Jackie treats." That is an Emoryism which he coined in about 3rd grade. Thank you Peggy for the yummy breakfast you provided on Saturday- you are the hostess with the mostest.

I have one Little Me kit available and I believe two Oklahoma Album kits. Call Paper Crown if you are interested.

You are Going to Love Her

She's here !!! Debby Schuh arrived in our toasty, cricket infested town yesterday. Poor thing, it was in the 50s when she left NY yesterday am and a steamy 90 something when she landed last night. Jackie and I had dinner with her and you are in for a treat. We talked about our kiddos, travels, stores, projects and favorite lines both current and old.  You lucky Paper Crown girls are going to love her, I promise. I'm excited to get this weekend started  and know that everyone will have a great time. I have a feeling Debby is about to add a large Oklahoma faction to her following.

If you haven't signed up yet there are still a couple of openings on Saturday's classes. The store has been flipped, Girdie has on her b-day dress, Jackie made treats and her amazing name tags and Debby is  recovered from a long day of travel - I can't wait for 1pm- but first the classroom floor- UGH!  First Little Me class is today at 1 followed by Oklahoma Album at 5:30.

Calling all crowns!
If you are going to enter our crown contest, please bring in your creation this weekend.
