Guest Artist- Terri Brush

Girls we are in for such an amazing treat! The oh so very talented and patient Terri Brush is coming to Paper Crown Nov. 19-22nd. I have been lucky to spend the past two summers in Italy taking classes from Terri. She is a knowledgeable, creative and fun instructor- did I mention patient. Jewelry is not my strong suit but Terri has guided me through two beautiful necklaces, one similar to her Paper Crown class. Jewelry and soldering may be new to some of you but I promise, Terri's classes are so relaxing and you CAN do it!

Here is a breakdown of Terri's Oklahoma Adventure:

Bezel Necklace Class on Thurs. Nov. 19th 9:30-4:30.

Cost is $145.

Holiday Ornament Class on Fri. Nov. 20th 9:30-3:30.

Cost is $130.

Vendor at Paper Crown's Glitter Market on Sat., Nov. 21st 10-3

Holiday House Workshop on Sun., Nov. 22nd 9:30-3:30.

Cost is $125

Registration for Terri's classes is a little different than our norm. To register for Terri's classes, you need to go to her website, www. TerriBrush.com. If you have any trouble please call and I will try to assist. Spaces are limited and several are close to being full so I would not delay. Terri is one of my favorites and I know you will love her and I'm positive she will love ya'll.

Terri and Carolyn Peeler co-host an art retreat in Tuscany every summer, La Dolce Vita, and I would highly recommend it if you have a travel/art retreat on your bucket list. I loved it so very much I went two years in a row and would go a third if my schedule and pocketbook permitted it. It is an amazing experience and the friendships, experiences and confidence I gained from these trips are treasures. Can She Do It Again

I have a hunch Krystal is going to do it again! I have lost track of how many sold out beginning brush calligraphy classes she has taught at Paper Crown but she is just one away from doing it again this weekend. We have one spot left in the Beginning Brush Calligraphy class this Saturday, Sept. 19th from 10:30-12:30. Cost is $60 and includes all your supplies. you just show up and learn how to turn your handwriting from good to fabulous!

Guest Artist- Lesa Dailey and her lovely sidekick, Cassie

Woo hoo!!! We always get so very excited when these two head south to teach or vend at Glitter Market. Both are two of the sweetest people we know and our whole classroom seems to take on their serene spirit. Lucky for us, Lesa will be here in just a few weeks to teach one of her signature crows, the lovely Augusta Autumn!

She is a real beauty and as most of you Paper Crown girls know, the pictures don't do her justice. It's just impossible to capture all her detail and beauty in a photo. Miss Augusta is not a little project. She stands almost 23" tall and its embellished with lots of vintage goodies including French book pages and a sweet lil chenille Cinderella pumpkin on top of her wand. This is a class you do not want to miss!

Guest Artist- Eileen Hull on the Paper Trail

I mentioned yesterday that rest of this week was going to be devoted to some amazing guest artists we have lined up the next few months at Paper Crown. Leading off is Sizzix designer, Eileen Hull and her adorable trailer Scotty that she takes teaching on the " Paper Trail." It just sounds like fun doesn't it and I bet you will get to peek inside this artful and art full trailer.

Eileen and I were introduced through my good friend Carolyn Peeler, who hosts the La Dolce Vita Retreat with Terri Brush (could Terri be Friday's treat? you will just have to wait). Eileen had mentioned to Carolyn that she was taking Scotty out on the open road for her 2015 Paper Trail and asked if she had any suggestions for OK. Carolyn then recommended Paper Crown, probably because she had just spent a magical week with 6 of our store favorites in Italy- Thanks girls for making the store look so very good; you are my best ambassadors. A date was set and in just a few short weeks, Eileen and Scotty will be rolling into OKC.

Eileen started out at home in VA on Sept. 10th and will be traveling until Nov. making her way to PA, OH, MI, WI, NE, OK, TX, MO, MI, OH, & MD teaching as she goes.

This Week and Next at Paper Crown-new class added

Schedule and boxes are getting a little difficult to get a handle on- but that's a great thing. Here is a run down of what we have going on at Paper Crown the next couple of weeks. Lots of creative opportunities.

Also don't forget our pumpkin swap! It's easy just grab a medium sized (6-8") paper mache or foam pumpkin and let your creativity go wild. Pumpkins are due at the store on Monday, Oct. 12th and you can draw for your pumpkin swap on Sat., Oct 17th. Girdie needs a whole patch of pumpkins so I hope everyone will join us.

Starting tomorrow I will be blogging this week about some very special opportunities and very special teachers that will be heading to Paper Crown this fall. It is going to be fun!
