Ice Storm not as bad as they thought so we will be open today at noon. Come check out the new classes and the Valentine goodies.

Closed today and probably tomorrow- 1/13/17 & 1/14/17

I have gone back and forth this am but have decided to close today and if the massive ice storm hits later as predicted, tomorrow also. In reality I have decided to enjoy my electricity while I can- my electricity always goes out and the record is a whooping 15 days! I REALLY don't want to do that again. I have tons of catalogs so will spend the day ordering for the store.

I hope you all enjoy your day at home and hopefully you are creating. Send me a picture of what you created this weekend, I think that would make a fun blog posting for next week. The class schedule for January & February is up, in addition to our special guest artist in February, Colleen Moody.

 

This fun vintage heart pillow class is next Thursday evening, Jan. 19th at 5:30. The perfect project for a winter evening.

Valentine's Is In

Love replacing all those little sticky notes with the pinks and reds for Valentine's. We are slowly getting back to normal. Lots of new lines are already in and the sale tables have been replenished. For the time being, all Christmas is 40% off so it's a great time to stock up.

I am over the moon  to announce Colleen Moody will be at Paper Crown on Sunday, February  26th to teach one of her gorgeous new dolls, well actually, this one is an adorable bunny. I was thrilled when Colleen said yes and am excited to share the details of this special February class.

Springtime Pleasure

Sunday, February 26th

Join Colleen as you create this sweet, blooming Spring bunny.  In this class we will sculpt a little rabbit, paint, antique and dress her.  We will then use wonderful vintage millinery flowers and glass glitter to create her arch.  Her base is constructed with a piece of old baluster.
 

Student Supply List

round nose pliers

paintbrushes-medium size and a short liner brush

approximate 12" x4" piece of lace or a handkerchief (for her skirt)

 

To sign up call Paper Crown at 405 848-2389. A credit card is required to secure your class seat. As with all guest artists and special Paper Crown events, cancellations are not allowed so please check your calendars carefully.

The counting continues- Ugh! I'm still counting but the store is open. All Christmas is in the backroom and a great deal at 40% off. Thank you to the shoppers the past few days who have made a huge dent in the backroom but there is still a good selection of Holiday items on sale.

As I have been counting and emptying cabinets I have added a lot to the .10, .99 & 3.99 tables and racks. It's a great time to get some super deals.
