Spring Glitter Market

Yippee Skippy it is official!  Paper Crown is hosting a Spring Glitter Market on Saturday April 30th from 10-5. The exact location is in limbo at the moment; it will either be right next door or a few storefronts down the sidewalk close to New Leaf. Either way it is sure to be fabulous! Many of the same vendors from the fall will be here with a few new ones and a couple I'm still trying to twist their arms!  A complete list of vendors will be out soon but for now save the date and plan on coming by for some great shopping and refreshments!

Doesn't look like much does it! Just a lonely cone but wait till our talented Kid's Camp kiddos get a hold of it. On Sunday these will be decked out for Easter. We still have a few spots left in Sundays Kid's Camp- Sunday, April 3 from 1:30- 4:30. The cost is $65.00. It's a blast!  Call the store to reserve your spot, 848-2389.

Mona Lisa could use a few more cowgirls for her posse. Franc's class is this Thursday, March 31st from 5:30-9:00ish and cost is $45.00. This isn't your 1st rodeo, call the store to reserve your spot, 848-2389.

It is so dreary out I thought we all needed a little burst of spring. New goodies expected this week- 7 Gypsies, Echo Park- Playground and Kaisercraft. At least these are the ones I know about. Have a great day! c

2 new lines from Glitz, Laced with Grace and Afternoon Muse.

After such a beautiful week what a dreary weekend. Maybe some of these new goodies will give you a little "Spring" infusion.

The China Doll Egg Class was so much fun on Thursday evening. The eggs all turned out so very different but all absolutely beautiful.

Lesia, Karen and Becky all hard at work.

We are open on Saturdays until 5:00 so you can stock up for a weekend of creating. Have a great weekend. c

Kid's Camp- for big people

Really, I promise! This is a project we have done for kid's camp, 1st-5th graders little kiddos, and it turned out beautifully.  You scaredy cat adults can do it I promise. Hillari will walk you through each step and the vase and flowers have been pre-sketched. I promise you will love the end result.

It is just like the new painting places  popping up north of the store but SOOOO much cuter! Grab some girlfriends and join Hillari this Saturday from 1-4pm for an afternoon of fun. Cost is $65.00 and includes all your supplies. Call Paper Crown, 848-2389 to reserve your spot.

We will be having an Easter ATC swap and the cards are ready to be picked up. I think you know the drill but just in case- pick up the cards at the store, decorate them however you choose, we just ask that they stick to an Easter theme, return the decorated cards to the store by Wednesday, April 13th and  can pick up your new cards on Saturday, April 16th. The sky is the limit, you can decorate them all the same, all different, front only or front and back. Just have fun!

Swing by the store today and check out all the new goodies, sign up for a fun class and grab your ATC cards!

Pictures Worth a Thousand Words- and a whole lot faster!

We have been busy around here lately! I thought Spring Break would be slow but it turned out to be our busiest week ever! Saturday was a mad house. For all of you that were here on Saturday, thank you for your patience. Cheri handles the bustle like a pro but we don't get to hear her sing.

Ann-Denise had a great class on Saturday- lots of fun. I say a little thank you for all the wonderfully talented and wonderfully sweet teachers we have at Paper Crown. You all make the store what it is and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Lots still left to do so here are some pics. of the new goodies:

Basic Grey's Hello Luscious and Life's of the Party

They Keep on Coming

The boxes just keep on coming! I love this time of year with all the new goodies. It really is just like Christmas and birthday rolled into one! And  the good thing is- there are still quite a few "gems" that are still to come.

Here is what has arrived this week:

Technically Crate Paper was here last week but now it is in the front on display. We doubled up on the Emma's Shoppe and it is flying out the door.

Toy Box is a great boy line from Crate Paper.

Neighborhood is "inspiring, " you will see this influence in one of our Kid's Camp projects.

Yesterday I unpacked a line from a company new to Paper Crown, GCD StudiosFunhouse is a vintage circus with beautifully muted colors. So very different from the Graphic 45 collection. Fun unusual embellishments and check out the packaging on the ribbon spools. I'm not sure which I like better, the ribbon or the wooden dowel to hold them- very clever and cute!

love these journaling tags- not the glare!

Cute cabochons!

I just started to unpack the new Basic Grey yesterday so here is what we have out so far:

Pretty paper from Hello Luscious- this won't be around for long!

Another pretty!

In addition to Hello Luscious, we also received Life of the Party (which will be pulled out of the box 1st thing this am) and some bling. Mary and Elaine I know I will be seeing you soon : )

Reminder to all of you who signed up for Ann- Denise's Easter Bucket class it is this Saturday at 11.

Hippity hop its off to work. Hope you all have a great day and are enjoying your Spring Break!

After much thought and conversation with instructors, I have decided to change the class payment policy. As of today, payments will be made and processed when you sign up for classes. What a special project to honor mom!

Whew!

Definitely having one of those days where the "to do" is growing exponentially faster than the "done." Will I ever get caught up?

Doesn't help that I'm swimming in boxes- Jenni Bowlin's Be Our Guest arrived with some fun new embellishments.

Love, love, love Jenni's new Hodge Podge Books- 3 different vintage inspired mini albums and all you need to do is add pictures -or embellish the heck out of them. Pages consist of old ledgers, seed packs, school primers and lots old goodies.

We also just received 5 boxes of goodies from Crate Paper. It is definitely becoming one of my very favorite companies. I haven't unpacked much yet, but here is a sneak peek-

This is Crate's Portrait collection but we also received Toy Store (or is it Toy Box, I'm too lazy to get up and ck). It is a GREAT boy line and you all know how much we need one of those. Emma's Shoppe (a vintage girl line) and Neighborhood were also packed away in the mound of boxes. All four are adorable and they come with all the goodies.

For all you Basic Grey fans it should be here soon and we should also get in this week a line from a company I have never ordered from GCD Studios

It is definitely a fun time of year! Hope you all are enjoying this dreary day! c
