A Sleigh Full of Holiday Classes

That Arctic air blew in last night and it is definitely feeling like the holidays this morning. It was almost like the weather man knew we were kicking off the holidays today at Paper Crown and wanted to make sure everyone was in the mood.

First off, tonight is the Casady Square Open House from 5-8. All of the stores will be open late with refreshments, drawings, specials- 15% off at Paper Crown from 5-8, entertainment and a coffee truck parked right outside our store- thank you Melody!

Secondly, we have a full sleigh of holiday classes I'm excited to announce and I think, a certain artistic free spirit might even have a couple more classes in the works. So take a break from all the shopping and cooking and running around and do a little something for yourself. You can create decorations for your home or that perfect gift for a friend.  Here is our holiday rundown...

Elves' Paper Doll Workshop

This isn't a class but just a time to get together and play with all the different Character Construction stamps to create some holiday paper dolls, perfect for decorating or to use as tags. Workshop cost covers extra embellishments for paper dolls.

Oh Deer!

Believe me you will be saying"Oh deer!" when you see and learn about the special treats regarding this adorable class! Our first treat is you get to pick which color version of " Oh Deer!" you want to create. Both are absolutely adorable and I honestly don't have a favorite. Can't make up your mind, here is the second treat- kits will be available to purchase. So you can make one in class and purchase the other color to make at home.

 

ATTENTION OUT OF TOWNERS- we have finally broken our rule and " Oh Deer! " will be available for kit purchase. Angie has agreed to include instructions so those of you who have wished to take a Paper Crown class but just live too far, can now join us.

 

Kit cost is $55 plus shipping and will include all supplies and instructions. Since all cigar boxes are not created equal, the size of the shadowboxes will vary- some a little larger and others smaller. Kits will be mailed out Monday, Dec. 8th using the most economical shipping method. If you want your kit sooner, we will be happy to accommodate and the additional shipping cost will be included on your invoice. When you sign up you must tell us which version you want- pink or teal.

Arrows and feathers are everywhere and Paper Crown is no exception. Come learn a few new techniques and create this hip holiday decoration. This class will sure to appeal to the younger crafters.

 

Holiday Frame

Fri., Dec. 12th

Another Paper Crown first, a weekday afternoon class. Join us in making this large frame perfect for this year's holiday picture. The wooden frame is approx. 12x12 and the photo opening 4x6. One of my favorite parts of the frame is the adorable plaid border which you will learn how to paint. In addition to this paint technique, you will learn several other techniques you can use on future projects. Join us for a fun Friday afternoon of fun.
