we had the BESTEST weekend

Em used to say that when he was little and it's pretty self explanatory- a Sat. with everyone home, all his favorite meals, a trip to the park, ice cream and he gets to stay up late. It really can't get any better! Well, the lucky ladies who signed up for Stephanie Ackerman's classes this weekend feel just like Em!

Apparently my camera just couldn't take in all that color, all those smiles or all that creativity because it won't download my picture to the store computer. I will post pictures tonight but just wanted to thank everyone who traveled near and far to attend, all of you who helped to make everything run smoothly and especially  Stephanie for leaving her family for the weekend- and missing her son's first scrimmage of the season- and teaching us til our hearts were full and our hand covered in paint! It was a fun, fun weekend and one we will cherish - until 2016! We want you back Stephanie!

That missing Ranger box we were waiting on Fri. & Sat. arrived this am so those of you that haven't stopped creating, we have a some new stencils and distress paint and markers.

Stephanie Akerman Class Update

 

As of 12:54 pm, I have one opening in Stephanie's Hope Notes Class this Friday, Aug. 21st from 1:30-4:30 cost is $55 and one opening in the Bible Journaling Class this Sunday, Aug 23rd from 11-2:30 cost $45. To secure your spot you must call the store at 405 848-2389 with a credit card to hold your spot. There is a slight possibility there might be some openings in all of Stephanie's classes so if you wish to be put on the waiting list call the store. If you have already asked to be put on a waiting list, you are covered.

It's a Big Week at Paper Crown

We have lots going on this week at Paper Crown. The boxes are starting to fill the back and I'm scratching my head trying to figure out if we can squeeze one more lucky girl into the Stephanie Akerman weekend.

For those of you enrolled you should have received an email with your class supplies for all classes except the Lettering class. I am waiting to receive this and will forward as soon as I receive it. In the meantime please don't worry, I'm sure we either have what is needed or can find a similar substitute. Also we are a friendly group here and I'm sure your neighbor will share. We are stocked with paints and stencils, gelli plates are arriving Thurs. and the rest Friday.

 

 

Here is a quick peek at the new lines unpacked this week. These will be out through Thursday afternoon and will then be put away until after our weekend event. It's a good problem- we just have too much great stuff!

Did You Miss Out ?

 

Hopefully you didn't miss out on Angie's Tassel class Monday evening. We had a great time making a large tassel, beaded tassel necklace and bracelet and a key fob. It was fun to see those who took it wearing their new bling the next day. If you missed we might be able to twist Angie's arm to do an encore class. Just let us know!

Angie happens to have a few spots open in this Saturday's Junk Angel class. Class is Saturday, Aug. 15th from 10:30- 12:30. All supplies are included and class is $40. Angie also has a few kits if you are interested. To sign up call Paper Crown at 405 848-2389.

Woo Hoo!! It's Time for Kid's Camp

 

 

 

Kid's Camp

Mon., Aug. 10th- Thurs., Aug. 13th

1-4 Mon.- Wed. & 9:30-12:30 Thurs.

Cost $200

 

 

By now the kids are tired of the pool, all the camps are over and they are looking for something fun to do the last weeks before school starts. Join us for 4 days of crafting fun. We typically do three larger projects and one or two smaller ones. Snacks are provided. We ask that all campers have completed the first grade and all cell phone are tucked away during class but can be checked during breaks.
