Easter Happenings

The Easter bunny has definitely been hopping around Paper Crown. Last night was a great class with the talented Lesa Dailey. We adore her creations and this one was no exception!

Lesa patiently guided us through the steps to make this adorable bunny box.  As if the box wasn't enough, Lesa had our kits in the cutest bunny bags and included a bag of Easter goodies from her friend who is a chocolatier- YUM! Lesa's daughter Cassie also gifted us with the best sugar cookies. It was like Easter morning !

 

 

We so appreciate Lesa and Cassie making the long drive south to teach and shower us with treats. Next time they head our way we hope Cassie will bring her baby, Emery, who is due to arrive in June. Jackie made theses romper cookies to help us celebrate Emery last night.

Honestly, how in the world could anyone resist this sweet face? Lesa Dailey will be here this Thursday to teach another of her wonderful creations, an Easter bunny. You won't want to miss this little fella which is actually a box; the perfect place to stash some ester eggs or treats and so much cuter than a basket. The fourth and final project for the Paper Crown 2016 " A Paris Flea Market" Retreat http://www.papercrownokc.blogspot.com/2016/03/paper-crown-2016-spring-retreat-paris.html is Angie's treasure box. Angie is one of our technique gurus and you will learn a few new ones while working on this box. The layers are what makes this so very interesting and it opens to reveal a true French treasure, Marie Antoinette.
