Retreat Ladies

It's just a few short days til the Paper Crown Fall Glitter Retreat. Just a couple of quick reminders.
Festivities begin Thursday, Oct 1 evening at 5:30 pm at the store. We will be having  shop, swap and appetizers from 5:30- 7. We have a fun evening of meeting new friends, tasty treats, shopping  ( with a 20% discount) and our first swap, the purse swap.

Classes will begin on Friday and breakfast will be served at 9:00 with class beginning at 9:30. WE will all have lunch together on Friday- dutch treat- and then travel to some of our favorite spots before a second class and dinner at the store on Friday.

Saturday you can sleep in a tad, breakfast will be served at 9:30 and class begins at 10. Lunch will be served at the store and we will then conclude with our last class.

What do I bring- basic kit- scissors large and small, pencil, ruler, adhesive- your favorite for paper and glue gun and extra glue sticks. Three of our projects will use a glue gun so please don't forget. You might also want to bring a paint shirt for Saturday; hate to get paint on a favorite outfit.

We were hoping for a few cool fall weekend but it looks like it will be cooler but still in the low 80s. Two of our meals will be upstairs in the Paper Attic. It is not air conditioned upstairs but we will have it blowing like crazy downstairs and fans going. Probably best to dress in layers. Some of you will want an extra layer in the classroom but want to shed a layer for our meals.

We are all excited for this weekend and can not wait to CREATE SOME MAGIC with you!

Safe travel for those of you coming outside OKC and Thelma and Marlene traveling all the way from Canada- maybe you could bring a cool breeze!
