Stephanie Ackerman is Coming to Town- but when?

We are so thrilled to announce Stephanie Ackerman is coming to Paper Crown to inspire us and teach several of her Documented Faith classes; however, there is a little hitch. The only 2015 date Stephanie has available is the weekend of August 21 & 22. I believe this is either the weekend before school starts or the weekend following the first week of school, depending on where your kiddos go.
We are trying to decide if this is a good weekend choice or just too much going on and we should wait until 2016.

So I have a little favor to ask of you, let me know at cindy@papercrown.net if you are interested in the classes and if the weekend of August 21 & 22 works. We just want to make a good choice that works for everyone or at least a majority. I promise Stephanie will be here, just whether it's 2016 or 2016, remains the question.

Documented Faith; Workshop No. 1
created and taught by stephanie ackerman

Whether you journal in the margin of a bible, doodle the Word on a Project Life Card, express your faith and feelings on canvas, in a blank journal, on a piece of wood or just on a simple piece of paper, the important thing is that you are in the Word. We often lose focus of what and why we are creating something and need encouraging reminders from each other that the significance does not come from the fact that a word might be misspelled or that the ink bled through the page. Together we will work together to create meaningful Faith filled art and work through those creative moments of fear, doubt and confusion on who, what, why & where. This is Documented Faith; The Workshops.

Documented Faith – Workshop One In class one we will spend 3 hours creating a hand painted, one of a kind 11 ½" x 36" piece of canvas that will be folded up and turned into an art journal/portfolio to hold papers, tags and pockets that can be created on.

Hope Notes by Stephanie Ackerman

Every single one of us needs a reminder that we are loved, that we matter and that there is hope. Together we will create little cards that will hold those reminders. Reminders that will be kept with us and reminders that will be given away.

Hope Notes- Workshop Three
Each kit comes with TWO die cut boxes and five cards for each box,. Each card can be embellished as you wish and the box can be constructed to hold the cards inside. The box is also the perfect size to hold gift cards, sweets and the popular INSTAX sized instant photos

I apologize but I can't get the pictures to copy but you can get an idea from Stephanie's blog, www.homegrownhospitality.typepad.com. All three classes would be $50.

Please let me know if you are interested, cindy@papercrown.net
